What is Kid's Busy Box?
The original Kid's Busy Box is a collection of crafts grouped by season. Each new season we put together 15 fun crafts that allow kids to work with their parents on crafts that help kids learn about the wonders of each season. We keep the crafts timely and relevant. Each craft is carefully thought out, tested by our kids and includes instructions to make it easy for parents and caregivers to help children make each project. We include the templates and craft materials needed for each project so you don't end up with loads of extras you don't need. Everything is secured together when possible so the box is organized to make it easy for parents.
If you don't have all the basic art supplies, we offer the Deluxe Art Pack add-on giving you everything you need to create all projects. If you are buying a gift this makes it a complete solution.
Kid's Busy Box was invented with kids in mind but we also gave thoughtful consideration to busy parents' needs as well. We simplify things for you so spending quality time with your kids can be more productive and fun.
This past year we introduced two new Specialty Boxes with the Princess-Fairy Collection and Transportation Collection boxes. These boxes contain 10 crafts that let kids try new crafts that relate to their unique interests. Look for more themes to come.
What Ages Should Children Be to Use Kid's Busy Box?
Our crafts are appropriate for kids ages 3 to 8; however, be warned that older siblings have been caught showing interest in Kid's Busy Box crafts.
Another fun benefit is watching kids do some of the same crafts each year and watching how much their skill level is increased. You'll be amazed to see what your child can do at 3, 5, and 7. The older they get the less assistance they need.

When Can I Use Kid's Busy Box?
• At Home - rainy day, sick day, anytime fun. A great reason to turn off the TV and get children busy using their creativity.
• Vacations - We can mail them ahead to your destination so you don't have to pack it.
• Grandparent's Homes - Buy one to leave at grandma and/or grandpa's house to keep kids occupied during visits. If you are a grandparent, it's a wonderful activity to keep at home so you don't have to go searching for ideas.
• Restaurants - Our kids get a little bored with the coloring pages at restaurants, if they even have one. Grab a craft or the box and go.

Who Invented Kid's Busy Box?
Kid's Busy Box was invented by five moms who took career detours when we started families. During a short stint at stay-home-motherhood, we began talking at a playgroup about how it we wished there were better activities to do with our kids that were fun and educational, and most of all, easy. After all we were all professional women who were new to this motherhood thing and we had a lot on our plates.
Our kids loved crafts but it was such an endeavor to make it happen. A trip to the craft always cost a fortune and we'd end up with tons of materials left over that just kept piling up and created a mess. So we though about creating a collection of crafts that included the idea, instructions and materials organized for ease of use. We created a sample box and our kids just loved it so we though we'd give it a try. Kid's Busy Box is our youngest baby.
